The engagement

What the work involves.

The decision to bid should reflect the work involved, your ability to meet the requirements and the resources needed to prepare a response. We help separate the essential conditions from the assumptions that still need checking.

What you receive.

01

Requirements summary

The key eligibility conditions, mandatory requirements and response obligations brought together.

02

Business-fit assessment

A practical look at the relationship between the requested work, your experience and your delivery capacity.

03

Gap and risk notes

Known constraints, missing information and issues that need clarification before proceeding.

04

Decision recommendation

A considered recommendation with its assumptions and the next steps your team should evaluate.

How it works.

  1. Understand the opportunity

Review the request, scope of works and the decision or submission deadline.

  2. Test the fit

Discuss relevant capability, delivery resources, geographical fit and the effort involved in preparing the bid.

  3. Clarify the decision

Set out the key considerations, unresolved questions and implications of proceeding or declining.

What we need from you.

  • The opportunity documents and available scope of works
  • An outline of the services and locations your business supports
  • Relevant experience, current capacity and any known constraints
  • Your commercial priorities and the deadline for a bid decision

We agree how to share sensitive documents before you send them.

Scope and responsibilities.

The assessment supports your decision; it does not replace it. Your business remains responsible for commercial, pricing, contractual and legal decisions. Any recommendation is limited by the information available and does not predict the buyer’s award decision.

Common questions.

Can an assessment recommend not bidding?

Yes. If the fit, eligibility, available time or delivery demands do not support proceeding, the assessment can recommend declining or seeking clarification before committing.

Do we need the full tender documents?

A meaningful assessment needs enough detail to understand the actual requirements. Where information is incomplete, the limitations and outstanding questions will be identified.

Can this lead into tender writing?

Yes. If you decide to proceed, we can discuss a separate writing or review scope based on the assessment and the remaining timeline.
